Snow Comes to Pea Ridge and Belated Happy Valentines

Although I was kind of tongue-in-cheek about our southern blizzard, it turned out that we really had one: we received over one foot of snow & broke all sorts of records. It was all very fun until we lost power, which remained off for 3 days and nights. We were SOOOO cold and miserable! Our power was not restored until Sunday night. Pea Ridge even got snow, though not so much as we did. It is VERY UNUSUAL for it to snow in Pea Ridge, especially this much. My mother took these lovely pictures with her fancy camera:

If you look, you can see Scooby running underneath the trees:

Finally, belated Happy Valentines to all our friends!

We were so derailed by the storm last week, I have not been round much to visit, but I am anxious to visit everyone soon!

It must be horrible to loose power for three whole days. Poor you! Did you all cuddle up for extra warmth?
The photos are wonderful though.

Three days without power! That's like forever!

Snow can be bearable, but no power is definitely unbearable!!! You poor things.

The Pea Ridge photos are just beautiful, and we love the Valentine's card!

The photos are beautiful (your house is wonderful!), but I am so sorry to hear that you lost power. We know people that had problems with this during this last round of snowstorms here, but we're very fortunate that we never had that problem. I hope all is well.

P.S. I finally finished the draft of my project - yay! It was a big literature review (I know you can relate!) I reviewed hundreds of documents to complete it - and this is in addition to another part that I finished last year.

Oops - I didn't read your post carefully (my brain is fried!) and I now see it is your mom's house. It's a gorgeous place - I'm envious.

There is a price to pay for everything. We didn't get as much snow, but we did have electricity. It really was pretty here in Pea Ridge, for a short period of time.
