Winter Woods

I keep this picture over my desk so I can look at the woods whenever I want. You can almost smell the pine in the sun! BB is standing on a private road that cuts through the property. Look at how small she looks next to the tall pines!

Walking Alice

Here are pictures of Alice on a walk in our neighborhood. This is the highlight of Alice's day! Normally, Alice and I walk every morning, but sometime Baby Bean wants to ride her bike in the afternoon after school, so she rides and I walk Alice again. It doesn't get any better than that!

Mushrooms from Pea Ridge

Baby Bean and I came across these on a walk in the woods with our dog pals Alice, Hank, and Scooby. Wow! BB and I thought we had found some really neat small yellow mushrooms, but they turned out to be faux; closer inspection revealed them as rotting yellow berries from a tree or shrub. Too bad! We thought we had made a great new discovery! We love to walk in the woods with the dogs & they love it too.

Meet Our Friends!

On Monday, Baby Bean and I visited some old friends, J. & J, and also got to play with their sweet puppies, Prince and Princess. We also met a new friend named Lilly. Lilly is a sweet little puppy who lives next door! We had so much fun with our friends! Look at Lilly's sweet face and cute nose.

Tiger

Tiger the cutie was found in a Walmart parking lot. The kitty co. cat rescue took him to the kitty co. cat rescue place. Now he is happy at home with us. He sleeps with me and has made two new friends. His friends are the cat down the street which we call the nemesis and are dog Alice. Tiger is a Happy kitty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Kitty Monger

It has recently been discovered that Monger, age 21, has feline dementia, much like Alzheimer's disease in humans. He wanders around, caterwauls, knocks things over, and misses the litter box more than he makes it......we've been giving him buspar to try to calm him and it appears to be working. He loves to eat baby food; his favorite: lamb. He sticks his nose in the food and it dries into crust because he doesn't groom any more. He follows me around all day and purrs when I pick him up.
